ABOUT THE PROFESSIONAL LEADERS PROJECT:
We are an entrepreneurial nonprofit founded three years ago, and select Talent in their 20s - 30s around the country. PLP connects them to forward-thinking seasoned leaders for networking, mentoring, coaching, skill-building, and positive organizational change. We are dedicated to increasing the recruitment and retention of outstanding leaders who will lead our Jewish community into the future.
Boutique Approach:
We hand-select a diverse group of Jewish Professionals and lay volunteers, and provide them with high-caliber leadership tools, individual coaching, and mentoring.
Values Based Model:
Jewish values include commitment to the Jewish people and pride in Jewish identity (hizdahut), quest for knowledge (limud), moral courage (musarim), service to the community (avodah), and desire for social change (tikkun olam).
PLP's core universal values include inter-generational dialogue, collaborative partnerships, innovation and risk-taking, plurality and tolerance, entrepreneurialism, transparency, openess and integrity, and expecting excellence, upholding accountability and measuring results.
