Jennifer Robin

Jennifer Robin is a Consultant in the San Francisco office of Great Place to Work. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee and undergraduate degrees in both Human Resource Management and Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa.

Prior to joining the Institute, Jennifer was the President of the Art of Growth, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in the areas of leadership, motivation, organizational culture, and development. She also taught in undergraduate, master's, and professional programs at Bradley University. She has recently co-authored her first book, entitled A Life in Balance: Finding Meaning in a Chaotic World.

Jennifer is an affiliate of several professional organizations including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association.

• Facilitated the strategic planning process with top leadership teams, focusing intensely upon leading strategic plan implementation.
• Helped top leadership teams develop organization-wide competencies to be used in succession planning systems, 360-degree feedback instruments, and training and development initiatives.
• Created and facilitated multiple-day leadership development courses targeted to specific groups such as new professionals, physicians, and new managers.
• Provided coaching services for executives and professionals, serving as a thought partner, devil's advocate, and goal broker on issues such as career development, leadership skills, and work-life balance.
• Launched initiatives to shape culture in start-up and transitioning organizations and provided monitoring of new cultures as they grow and develop.
• Developed and delivered workshops on multiple topics such as change management, HR Leadership, conflict management, communication, teams and teamwork, and work-life balance.
